Early stage

In 1975, ETFE film sales began (for rice cooker liners and photocopy board surfaces). In 1985, F-clean membrane material was launched, and at that time, ETFE film was mainly used for greenhouses. Since then, the area of this product used for greenhouses has reached 3000 hectares.

first phase

As the greenhouse area gradually expands, typical buildings are formed, forming a scenic line. Especially with the completion of the Eden Garden in Cornwall, the world’s largest ecological greenhouse built on an abandoned mine, it gathers almost all the plants from around the world. Utilizing ETFE’s unique light transmittance, intensity, and weather resistance capabilities.

The Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, uses transparent and semi transparent films with a white curved design. The southeast side of the ceiling is covered with transparent film, and the high transparency of ETFE film can provide natural light for the natural lawn. Especially in other areas, a semi transparent white film is used, which shines in red, blue, and white colors every night. The Water Cube is a closed type sports arena building. The whole body is covered with steel structure and ETFE membrane material. The Water Cube is covered by 3615 ETFE air pillows, all of which are irregular polygons of various specifications, and are designed with a water colored film. As a closed venue, the Water Cube not only continues the functions of ETFE membrane materials in the first two stages, but also considers indoor environment, lighting performance, and acoustic performance.
